I’m Cynthia, the founder and designer behind BAL.

I graduated from fashion school, then spent almost 10 years working in the corporate world. Somehow, life slowly led me back to movement, wellness and eventually becoming a yoga teacher. From there, activewear naturally became something I lived in almost every single day.

Before BAL, I also created handmade crystal bracelets and worked closely with natural stones for people who believe in energy, intention and the quiet healing qualities they carry.

I have always believed that what we wear can hold intention, not only in how it looks, but in how it makes us feel. That belief became part of BAL.

BAL started from my desire to bring together everything I personally love. Fashion, movement, femininity, energy and natural stones.

Each piece is designed for movement, but also for the life you move through after practice. Our natural stone clip is a small reminder of the energy you want to carry with you throughout the day. Every batch may come with a different natural stone, each chosen with its own meaning and intention.

For our first collection, I specially designed the wave pattern myself. The wave collection is inspired by my own life journey, and it is a symbol of flow, femininity and resilience. A reminder for women to soften, move through life, and return to themselves, even through the challenges of love, work, family, motherhood, change and growth.

It is not just a pattern printed on the fabric. It is also my way of instilling intention and passing on good energy to whoever needs it.
