At BAL, every piece is created in limited quantities with thoughtful attention to detail. As a small independent brand, we are not able to absorb frequent returns in the same way as larger retailers, so we kindly ask that all return requests meet the conditions below. Your support means a great deal to us, and we truly appreciate every order placed with BAL.
Return Eligibility
We accept return requests for full-price items only within 14 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- unworn
- unwashed
- unaltered
- in original condition
- free from perfume, deodorant marks, makeup, stains, pet hair, or any signs of wear
- returned with the original BAL tag still attached
Items returned with the original tag removed, cut, or reattached will not be eligible for change-of-mind returns. This does not affect your rights if the item is faulty.
As activewear is close-fitting and delicate in nature, all returned items will be carefully inspected before approval of any refund.
Sale Items
All sale, promotional, discounted, markdown, and clearance items are final sale and are not eligible for refund, exchange, or store credit for change of mind.
This does not affect your rights in the case of items that arrive faulty.
Return Shipping
For all change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for arranging and covering their own return shipping.
We recommend using a tracked service, as BAL is not responsible for parcels lost or delayed in transit during the return journey.
Original shipping charges paid at checkout are non-refundable.
How to Request a Return
To request a return, please email us at support@livewithbal.com within 14 days of receiving your order and include:
- your order number
- the item(s) you wish to return
- the reason for the return
- pictures of the outfit condition
If your return is approved, we will provide the return instructions and return address.
Please do not send any return parcel without prior approval.
Approved returns must be shipped within 7 days of approval.
Refunds
Once your return has arrived and passed inspection, your refund will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note that your bank or payment provider may require additional time for the refund to appear in your account.
Refunds apply to the item price only. Original shipping charges are not refundable.
Exchanges
At this time, BAL does not offer direct exchanges.
If you need a different size or colour, we kindly ask that you return your eligible item in line with our return policy and place a new order separately.
As our pieces are produced in limited batches, we are unable to hold stock for exchange requests while returns are in transit or under review.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives with a fault or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us at support@livewithbal.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue.
We will review this as quickly as possible and work with you on an appropriate resolution.
Items Not Eligible for Return
We are unable to accept returns on:
- sale or discounted items
- gift cards
- items marked final sale
- items returned without approval
- items that do not meet the conditions listed above
Our Right to Refuse Returns
BAL reserves the right to refuse returns that are sent back outside the return window or returned in a condition that makes them unsuitable for resale.
If a return does not meet our policy requirements, it may be sent back to the customer at their own cost.
